This week, I want to share a more personal chapter of my journey—a testament to the belief that we are all perfectly designed, even when the path seems uncertain.

Despite being raised in a loving home with supportive parents, I found myself incarcerated. Statistics suggest that many who enter the prison system are likely to return; however, I was determined to defy those odds. With the unwavering support of my family, children, and mentors from Narcotics Anonymous (NA), I discovered a brighter path forward. Post-release, I pursued an associate's degree in HVAC and PLC programming. This education opened doors to a rewarding career where I advanced to become a Supervisor over the HVAC department. The field of HVAC offers long-term stability and excellent earning potential, making it a viable path for many seeking a fresh start. Trade Schools

Venturing into the business world, my initial endeavors faced setbacks. Yet, each failure was a lesson, reinforcing the resilience I cultivated during my time in prison. It's this tenacity that drives me to persist, adapt, and ultimately succeed.

Reflecting on my past, I recognize that a lack of direction once led me astray, misusing my talents. Now, with a renewed purpose, I aim to guide others away from similar pitfalls. Sharing our stories can illuminate the path for those who feel lost, reminding them that setbacks don't define us—our responses do.

Remember, you are perfectly designed. Embrace your journey, learn from every experience, and know that with determination and support, transformation is within reach.
